1. Hampi:



A UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Karnataka, this place is a must visit especially if you love some art and history. There are more than 500 monuments to see here, strewn across the gorgeous backdrop of hills, so make sure you devote enough time to this trip! The place is filled with breathtaking monuments separated by just a couple of miles from each other. It is the best place to meet like minded people from different parts of the world. 2. Chamba:

7. Mahabalipuram:



It is a sweet and small temple town situated in the state of Tamil Nadu which can be reached through a scenic drive form the state's capital, Chennai. Once upon a time, a major sea port of the Pallava empire, it is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is also one of the few places where you can still see craftsman carving out statues from a single rock.
