10. Chadhar Trek, Ladakh:


The Chadhar trek is also known as the Zanskar Trek. It is a trek over the frozen Zanskar River which form thick ice sheet during the Winter. It records some the lowest temperatures in the world which makes it even more exciting. The temperatures could stoop to as low as -25 to -30 degrees Celsius.
Everything about it is exceptional: the panorama, atmosphere, the frozen river, caves, unusual campsites, sledges and the ever changing Chadhar.


9. Markha Valley Trek, Ladakh:


It is one of the most famous treks in Ladakh. It passes through secluded villages, ancient Buddhist monasteries  and the astonishingly lit lunar scenery of the Markha valley. The trek gives an imprinting view of the K2 and Karakoram range.
Due its charming nature, the trek is also called "The Trip to Little Tibet". The journey passes through many landscapes involving snow, slippery mud, green, rocky terrains which makes it stand out.

8. Kumara Parvatha Trek, Karnataka:


Hailed as one of the toughest treks of the Western Ghats, it is probably the most exciting as well. It is a 16 km climb which never ceases to amaze you with its continuous stretch of tiring inclines. It poses a great challenge to the Endurance of the trekker.
Kumara Parvatha is also the third tallest peak in the western ghats of Karnataka at a height of 1712 m (5,624 ft) is very close to Kukke Subramanya temple. It is also one of the most beautiful peaks in the western ghats. 


7. Kudremukh Trek, Chikmagalur:


Blessed with lush green surrounding, the charisma of this place is second to none. It amazes everyone with its beauty but is challenging at the same time as it is the third tallest peak in Karnataka. It is fondly called the Himalaya of the South.
It is a cocktail of adventure and leisure as the only accomidation is provided by home stays in small villages all through the trail. It passes through 10 water streams and numerous waterfalls which brings solace to the traveller. 


6. Sandakphu Trek, West Bengal:


Sandakphu, being the highest peak in West Bengal, offers grand views of the four of the tallest mountains in the World. This trek passes along the border of Nepal.This trek is for every mountain loverThe grand Himalayan mountains stay with you throughout the trail and these are views you will get on no other trek. 
It’s a good trek for beginners who have religiously followed the prescribed fitness regime. A physically active person over the age of 12 can do this trek.


5. Dzongri Trek, Sikkim:


Among the popular ones, the Dzongri trek ideal for those who do not wish to undertake long and hard trekking journeys. The gradient is gentle on this trek and it can easily be completed in eight days.
Snowfall is common especially during the winter months. The trekker should be well prepared to face the cold. The temperature may go below freezing point any time around the year.


4. Siang Valley Trek, Arunachal Pradesh:


The North Eastern piece of India offers various fascinating trekking trails that allure various voyagers from all around the world. Trekking in Siang Valley is one of the best adventures. It takes around 7 to 8 days & begins from Dibrugarh and takes you through places. 3. Rajmachi Trek, Maharashtra:


Situated in Pune, Rajmachi is a favoured destination for trekking in India. Perched on an elevation of 2710 feet, the hill fort attracts a large number of amateur and professional trekkers from all over the country and the world. This trek takes a minimum duration of one day.
You can spend lots time over the fort by exploring twin forts “Manaranjan” & “Shrivardhan”. Visit Bhairavnath Temple, Mahadev Temple & Rajmachi lake. There are 2 routes to reach Rajmachi, first from Lonavala and other being Karjat route.


2. Hampta Pass Trek, Himachal Pradesh:


Hampta pass trek connects two beautiful valleys named; Kullu and Lahaul, where one gets to see various ever changing Landscapes.There are only few treks which can offer almost everything that one wishes to see on an Himalayan trek.
